Dr Duminy explained the facial fat grafting process carefully to me in my initial consultation. I appreciated that. It was also helpful that the nursing assistant during the process chatted to me afterwards and was able to speak from personal experience re recovery. Recovery time has been a big question for me. Two days after surgery I somehow expected to be not so swollen. It would have been helpful to re-iterate that the swelling is likely to be much longer than two days.

Being a patient of Dr Duminy was a wonderful experience. What he offered me was more than his skill : patience, attentiveness, humour and a comforting hug. Attending follow up appointments was always a pleasure as I would always be welcomed by the caring attitude of his staff. Dr Duminy replaced my trepidation with trust that I was in capable and caring hands.

I have been going to Dr Duminy for almost 20 years. I originally met him after having an horrific car accident. I had originally used another surgeon that basically told me I needed to learn to live looking like I did. A friend referred me to Dr Duminy and what a difference. He made me feel comfortable, that I would be ok and able to face the world without visible scars. He always explained exactly what he was doing and why, I had laser resurfacing after the various surgeries and wow what a difference. I have had a number of other procedures since then and see him regularly for Botox. He even advised me to have my surgeries under local as it would not only save money but be less stressful on the body. I recommend all him to all my friends and trust him implicitly. If I had more money I would definitely be doing a lot more... :)
